Light Honey Bead Stack Necklace
Materials: etched light topaz glass, Czech glass beads, high temp wire, all sterling silver findings….cap, spacer beads, snake chain, spring clasp
Colors: light honey
Size: 16 inch 1mm snake chain, 2-6 mm beads, 3/4” drop
Length: 16’ chain, 18” with drop pendant
The glass is heated and dripped making the drop shape…making sure not to over heat.
Cooled and acid etched….again going back to the torch to add the high temp wire….very carefully as I aim for the center top of drop. This makes the top Transparent but then keeps the rest of the drop etched.
A fun addition is stacking and choosing the beads that are arranged on the top of the drop. This gives the earring its unique design. My favorite addition is the faceted or etched Czech beads strung with flat silver spacer beads.
The drop pendant is attached to a 16 inch snake chain. The beaded drop sits high this way for all to see!
